Fated To Be chap8Akihiro glared at the woman in the bed as he walked in the room. He didn't even know why he was here. Sanzo had asked him too, but it was something different. And he wasn't liking it. He stopped in the middle of the room and crossed his arms. "Speak woman."
Manami looked over at him and sighed. He was so hard and cold, and she wanted to bring it down. But she had to figure him out first. And she knw that wasn't going to be an easy task. "I just wanted to thank you again for saving me. And see if we could talk for a while and get to know each other."
Akihiro turned his back on her with an annoyed glare. "I have no wish to get to know you or any other human."
Manami smiled as she looked at him. "If we are all so bad, how come you saved me?"

Manami sighed and dropped her head. "I know. And I know that I was a burden to Lord Akihiro. I do hope that I get a chance to see him again so that I can thank him one more time."
Mai half smiled as she sat down on the edge of the bed. "Well you can try. He isn't all that keen when it comes to human women."
"I asked him if he saved me cause of a human lover he had at one point."
Mai gasped and her eyes went wide. "Oh now that is a touchy subject with him. If you do get a chance to talk to him, don't bring that up anymore."

He didn't understand any of it. He let his eyes roam around the room as he tried to think of who could have done it and where the lieing traitor was. The scent, the looks and the powers that killed his men senselessly 200 years ago was all her. How could she have been innocent of the crime? And yet she still arogantly denies it fully?
With a frustrated growl he stood and walked to the window. He let his eyes glide across the southern lands with a red hint to his usual violet eyes. "Whoever did this is out there somewhere. But who would want to restore her life?"

"I don't know something about her has changed. She was never this cold or evil before." Akihiro muttered under his breath.
He walked to the spot where Akiko was last and bent down to touch it. Sanzo looked analyzed Akihiro for a moment, "You're not still stuck on her. She did just slaughter all your men and she completely eradicated an entire village population. She's the enemy Akihiro she always was."
Akihiro turned a half glare on him. "Just like Mai?"
Sanzo sighed as he dropped his head. "I have told you a thousand times already, she is different."
"She is exactly what what Akiko use to be Sanzo." Akihiro was standing now as he looked at the falcon.
Sanzo sighed. "I am not going to get into another debate with you about my mate. Real topic of conversation right now should be Akiko and what you are going to do about her
